People have a hard time with change. Elderly have the most difficult time out of anyone. But did you know that people in the countryside have a more difficult time changing that those who live in cities?

Cities are forever changing, but the countryside hardly ever changes. Young people generally live in cities while older people tend to stay in the countryside or move out of cities to avoid all the hustle and bustle around them…change.

For people serving as missionaries, cities are the best place to share the Gospel. While we shouldn’t avoid those living outside cities, missionaries have to consider their environment. If they are to make a difference and share the Gospel in a way that those living in the countryside open up to it, they need to invest more time by living in the community contributing to it in order to bring about change in the hearts of those who live there. Time is essential!
